In 2015 Vail will host the World Alpine Ski Championships. J. Lindeberg has been contracted to supply all garments for this historic ski race. This means that the eyes of the world will be on Vail this February, and they will see everyone wearing the modern technical skiwear provided by J. Lindeberg.
The very best in the J. Lindeberg Mens Collection is the Leather Down Jacket. A leather topcoat with a Pertex Ripstop lining can withstand all of winter’s worst conditions. Technical features include removable hood, ventilation zips, hand and chest pockets and a removable snow-skirt as well. Capped off with the Recco locator device, the leather Down Jacket is a showstopper. It matches with a leather pant; filled with primaloft and an enhanced stretchy material the leather outfit is quite something. Next is the Alaska Jacket, a 4-way stretch, patented JL 3-ply nylon shell that has unparalleled water protection. A fixed hood and hand/chest pockets, combined with a trendy color way makes the Alaska a great lightweight piece. On the warmer side of things the Crosson Down Jacket has a 2layer dermizax nylon, with stretch. 700 fill of down will keep you warm all day long. Classic technical features of removable hood, pit zips, inner pockets and powder skirt give the Crosson plenty of street cred. A step down in warmth yet one of J. Lindebergs big winners for next season is the Crosson Tech Jacket. Filled primaloft insulation with Dermizax and EV stretch, the Crosson is the quintessential technical jacket for any mountain enthusiast. Fun colors such as black, navy and a brilliant red make the Crosson Tech an easy pick.
The mens pants from J. Lindeberg are right on par with their excellent jackets. The Harper Pant is a winner from start to finish. Built like the jacket, with a EV Stretch Dermizax nylon and a thin primaloft lining give the Crosson wonderful fit. The Matching pant to the Alaska Jacket is quite rightly the Alaska Pant. A 3-layer shell pant with a relaxed fit, the Alaska is a very technical piece. Long side zips give good ventilation, while 6 pockets in front and back make for plenty of storage for your essential ski day items. A unique stitch pattern on the outside gives a very cool look, matching perfectly with the Alaska jacket.
For midlayers J. lindeberg has a great variety to choose from. Their classic midlayer is the Atna Hybrid a full zips insulated jacket made from Fieldsensor fabric. Elastic cuffs and bottom hem do a good job of keeping cold air out. Fun colors such as intense red, navy purple and black make the Jarvis a winner any day of the year. The Lightyear sweaterjacket is a lightweight piece, filled with 700fill down and a recycled Pertex lining. It has a multitude of pockets and two-way zip make the lightyear not only a great under the shell piece but also goes great with jeans around town.
The womens collection from J. Lindeberg is a fun, technical and incredibly stylish selection of jackets, pants and mid-layers. The Alaska Jacket is a 3-layer shell with a fixed hood, pit zips, and 6 separate pockets. It has 100% waterproof material, but yet has excellent breathability. The Alaska liner goes underneath the shell, and is made from recycled Pertex material. The insulation is a mix of recycled products, including starbucks coffee! The Navy/Purple color combo is a winner in every sense of the word, and women will love it. The final accoutrement is the Alaska Pant. Also a 3-layer shell pant, it boasts all the technical features expected from J. Lindeberg. It has 100% waterproof material, guaranteed not to get your butt wet on the ski lift. The Bona Hybrid Jacket is a lightweight piece made from recycled Pertex and technical jersey. Filled with 60grams of Primaloft is goes great with a jeans on your way to the market, or as a lightweight spring jacket. Two hand pockets and a chest pocket give just enough function to this simple jacket. It also comes in a vest, the Bona Hybrid V. basically made from all the same materials as the Bona Jacket; the vest is a nice alternative and great in warmer conditions or underneath a shell during winter. Next in the line-up, and hands down our favorite JL piece for women is the ASP Jacket. It has a Ripstop pretext lining covered by 2layer Dermizax shell. 100grams of Primaloft cap it off to a warm, stylish and technical winter jacket. It has a removable hood, pit zips, 6 pockets and a two way zip. It also has a removable powder skirt. The matching pant is rightly named the ASP Pant. An insulated pant with EV stretch material, The APS pant has an excellent fit that women love. It’s not too tight but its not super baggy either. Fun color options make this a ladies favorite. One of J. Lindebergs most unique winter pieces is the Lightspeed Coat. This long jacket is elegant yet sporty, super warm yet not bulky. In collaboration with Loro Piana, JL has created a jacket with all the fashion yet not without its sporty feel. This piece will be a winner all winter long.
The most simple yet incredibly made mid-layer for women is the Jarvis T-Neck. Made from the patented Fieldsensor material, it is a micro-fleece that will look great with jeans and go perfect underneath a number of JL’s incredible jackets. They have super fun color selections that will go over well with the conservative to ultra flashy consumer. A simple logo on the left chest gives just enough to show that it’s a J. Lindeberg piece, but not over the top. Another mid-layer is the lightspeed sweater, which is a down insulated and Pertex layered full zip. It goes with just about everything, so don’t be afraid to bust it out heading to school to pick up the kids or on a mid-winter early morning hike up Aspen Mountain.
J. Lindeberg will be an amazing addition to the Miller Sports 2017/18’ product lineup. We are excited to showcase all that JL has to offer, and feel confident that customers will love every bit of it.
