This jacket has a sophisticated understated pattern along with high tech features. It will go well with black, white, and grey pants. I purchased it to wear with black mountain force pants and white mountain force pants I purchased previously. The material is stretchy and soft, making it very comfortable to wear. I feel unrestricted and unconfined in it. The material is highly waterproof and breathable. This jacket has a double parallel zipper system that allows you to adjust the width of the jacket to wear different base and mid layers underneath. Cold day, well put some more layers on, and select the zipper track that expands the jacket width. Warm day, well take the layers off, and select the zipper track that narrows the jacket width. Great feature for multi-day ski trips where the weather can fluctuate day to day. Has powder skirt , 2 pockets on outside of jacket, additional pass outside zip pocket, and two inside pockets both with zippers, one of which is quite large. Also has bungee cord pull inside bottom hemline of jacket to adjust that width. For how thin and light weight this jacket is, it does a decent job of keeping you warm. If it is really super cold, I would probably go to a puffy down jacket, but for many days this is sufficient. The sizing is definitely euro. I am normally a size 4 in jackets but in mountain force I usually wear a 6.
