Kore Lightweight Jacket
Head Kore Lightweight Jacket – Men's
Some days on the mountain start at minus ten on the chairlift and end with a sweaty bootpack to an untracked line. The Kore Lightweight is built for both. Head developed it with its freeride team as a do-everything insulator. It's warm enough to wear on its own on a cold bluebird day, and slim enough to go under a shell when the weather turns.
Warmth comes from PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core, a synthetic fill with a warmth-to-weight ratio close to down. Unlike down, it keeps insulating when it gets damp from snow or sweat. The shell is a featherweight ripstop with a PFC-free water-repellent finish, so it sheds light snow and blocks wind without adding bulk. The close-fitting hood fits under a helmet, and elastic binding at the hood, cuffs and hem keeps out drafts without heavy hardware.
It packs small enough to disappear into a touring pack for summit transitions or a lunch stop at the hut. For full storm protection, layer it under the Head Kore II shell to build a complete freeride system.
