TX93 + Skins
Part of the Kastle Touring Skis Collection
The Kastle TX93 alpine touring ski is part of the newly designed touring collection from Kastle. Coming in with a 93mm waist, the TX93 is what we like to call the one ski quiver for all your skinning adventures. Whether touring up the ski area or on a backcountry adventure, the Kastle TX93 has the width and the construction to handle anything you throw at it. This lightweight ski is an asset on big ascents but also can carve a turn on the way down that will make you think your on a slalom ski.
With the 93cm waist, this light backcountry ski has a generous sized shovel that overachieves in deep snows. The “hook free” tip and tail have their contact points moved further towards the center of the ski, which promotes a more maneuverable, reactive and playful backcountry profile. This enables you to spin and snap turns quickly when needed.
The Kastle TX93 is constructed from paulownia and poplar wood wound with a carbon fiberglass. This makes the ski very damp and nimble. The semi-capped sandwich sidewall construction adds durability and torsional rigidity as well.
Kastle has also integrated its Hollowtech 3.0 in the tip. What Hollowtech 3.0 does is reduce swing weight, eliminates tip chatter, dampening the ski at high speed.
